Year 2003
	We have been conferred the Life Office Management Association (US) (LOMA) Award for Excellence in Education in 2003. This is the 4th time that we have had this honor; we received it in 1998, 1999 and 2001 as well. It is a great achievement to be awarded as only 79 out of more than 1,250 LOMA member companies were so recognized this year. Award winners are recognized for their outstanding performance in developing their human resources through the use of LOMA's education programs. It also acknowledges the commitment made by these companies to support and encourage professional development for their employees, which in turn prepares both parties to meet challenges that lie ahead. To qualify, we have to be in top 25% of participating companies (based on pass rate), enrol employees in at least 20 examinations during the calendar year and show an increase in the number of exam enrolments.
	We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the 'Singapore 1000' Certificate of Achievement for 2002/2003. This award is organised by DP Information Network Pte Ltd, an independent and quantitative performance ranking resource of Singapore's top companies and SMEs. This is the third consecutive year we have received this accolade. Out of the 1,000 companies that were ranked, we came in at a strong 206th position. This is a remarkable improvement from the 2001/2002 ranking, when we were 402nd. The rankings were based on financial performance and the soundness of management principles. We're committed to maintaining the high standards associated with 'Singapore 1000'.
Year 2002
	We have been nominated for CIO 100, a regional 'Hall Of Fame' for information technology users for year 2002. Selected by the editorial team at CIO Asia, this honour is bestowed only to companies that use IT creatively to add value to its service delivery. We are proud to be one of the chosen ones.
Year 2001
	Our intranet project has garnered us an Intelligent20 Award. This Asia-focused awards programme is organised by Intelligent Enterprise Asia to recognise companies' excellent and innovative use of technology in their businesses. The panel of judges included companies such as A. T. Kearney, Deloitte Consulting and KPMG Consulting. They looked at 4 main indicators - customer satisfaction, product/service quality, return on technology investment and innovation. Our intranet project performed well in all these areas. We will continue to enhance the features of our intranet.
